Degree
The Department of Physics (College of Science) offers a Master of Science program in Physics. The program is designed to prepare individuals for a career in college or university teaching and research; a leadership role in secondary school science education; employment in technically oriented positions in government, business, or industrial laboratories, and to continue graduate education towards the Ph.D. degree. A wide range of potential areas for research are available for students to choose from. This includes: Atomic, Molecular, Solid State, Nuclear and Digital Electronics. Only thesis option is offered.

Our Program Vision is for our MSc Program to be recognized internationally in order to attract the best undergraduate students in the Gulf Area and also for our MSc graduates to perform innovative research at the cutting edge of knowledge and to be selected in the best universities in the world where they will continue their studies and pursue a Ph.D.
Mission
Our Program Mission is to provide students with the most advanced teaching and research skills in order to our MSc graduates to be able to perform their research independently and/or participating and working in collaborative environments, to produce new and innovative ideas, and to be able to write up and publish their own articles.
